Zero Plastic Bottles

That’s right. Sometimes to go forward, we need to take a step back. At Palmaïa we have protected our connection to nature by eliminating plastic bottles from the property. Instead, a personal, limited edition vessel waits for you on arrival, to refill and hydrate to your heart’s content.

Natural Living by Design

Instead of finding balance with nature, builders often level the landscape and then selectively replant, even importing non-native fauna. Here, great care has been taken to safeguard the property’s natural landscape during construction. As an example, we maintained our dense mangroves and continue to protect our namesake, the palma chît, from extinction.

Carbon Energy Neutral

We strive to become one of the first carbon energy neutral resorts in the world, by leasing our energy from solar panels and other renewable sources. It doesn’t hurt that we use 50% less energy than the average resort. But don’t worry, during hot days air-conditioning keeps us refreshed, cool, and happy.
