Palmaïa offers a holistic natural sanctuary to care for the next generation, while on vacation. We are not just about child entertainment, activities are not designed to just keep them busy, they are designed to ignite their curiosity and creativity through their innate connection to their soul.

Waldorf Inspired

Palmaïa operates a Waldorf-inspired, children’s activities program. All Child Care professionals are qualified personnel that create an environment which draws on avant-garde thinking, giving children opportunities to explore and nurture their senses in a natural way… and you can get away….

7–year Cycles of Growth

We base our understanding of children’s developmental stages on the teachings of Rudolf Steiner and his Anthroposophy. To create physical spaces and activities that are developed according to the 7-year cycles of childhood. At Awen, we serve the first two cycles and differentiate activities and spaces accordingly between each age group, ensuring an optimal experience.

A High Standard

Each teacher at Awen is committed to their own personal growth and development, which is what sets us apart. It allows each child to be recognized and received as a spiritual being in their own right, because they are and we see them as such.

A Kid Is Always a Kid

Children cannot pause between day-to-day life and “outside of the everyday” events like vacations. The child absorbs everything and makes it his own. We see the importance of offering a space that respects them with a deep knowledge of their emotional, physical, and spiritual moment—allowing them to explore naturally and trust this world we inhabit.
